Sairam Group of Institutions Signs MoU with MapSDG to Champion Sustainable Development in Higher Education
Tambaram, Chennai – August 6, 2025 – In a strategic move to integrate sustainability into mainstream higher education practices, Sairam Group of Institutions, Tambaram, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MapSDG, a leading AI-powered SDG tracking and reporting platform for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
The MoU was signed by Mr. AN Henry Maris, CEO of MapSDG, and Mr. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, Chairman of the Sairam Group of Institutions, at the Sairam campus in Tambaram. The MoU was witnessed by Dr.Mary Angeline, Subject Matter Expert of MapSDG.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in aligning institutional strategies with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). Through this collaboration, the Sairam Group aims to build a data-driven culture of sustainability, empower students and faculty in SDG-aligned activities, and drive measurable impact across teaching, research, extension, and campus operations.

- Alignment of institutional practices with NAAC Criterion 7, Green Audits, NIRF, and national sustainability mandates
This MoU cements the commitment of both institutions to transform the higher education landscape into a force for sustainability, equity, and global impact.
